INDUSTRY ANALYST

The Freedonia Group, located in Mayfield Village, Ohio, is actively seeking bright and articulate writers who are also comfortable with numbers to assist in the research and writing of in-depth industry studies covering a range of topics. We are looking for college graduates with 0-5 years work experience.

The successful candidate will likely be a recent graduate of an economics, finance, business or a related program. However, we encourage people from a wide range of disciplines to apply. Creativity, strong analytical skills and an impressive capacity to turn analysis into insightful and easily understood business English are also required of the position. We need people who write and research well. Potential candidates should feel comfortable working with spreadsheets and numbers. Analysts collect statistics and information, conduct phone interviews with industry participants and analyze trends. A demonstrated interest in and local knowledge of regions outside the United States strengthen an applicant's candidacy.

The successful candidate will possess excellent writing and research skills, a strong aptitude with numbers and spreadsheets/word processing, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Freedonia Focus Reports,  is actively seeking candidates for an editor of market research reports with 0-5 years experience. The successful candidate will have an impressive capacity to recognize what is insightful and easily understood business English and what is not. Superior writing skills and attention to detail are required, but candidates do not have to have editing experience.

An undergraduate degree is prerequisite (does NOT have to be in English/Writing), and education and/or experience related to economics, business, finance or related subjects are not a requirement but strengthen an applicant's candidacy.

Freedonia Custom Research is seeking individuals who can sell custom research engagements across industries in a team-based environment.  The Sales Executive role is responsible for lead development, consultative selling, sales proposal development, closing business, quality assurance / client satisfaction and account management.  

Key attributes for a successful sales executive include:

  • Consultative selling approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand client objectives, analyze and organize responses into meaningful proposals
