Demand for emission control products in the US will grow 5.4 percent annually through 2007. Gains will be driven by increasingly stringent EPA emission standards and their extension into previously unregulated areas. Sensors will be the fastest growing products, while filters remain the dominant group and transportation the largest market.

This study analyzes the $3 billion US emission control products industry. It presents historical data for 1992, 1997 and 2002 with forecasts to 2007 and 2012 by emission type (e.g., criteria air pollutants, greenhouse gases); by control product (e.g., filters, catalysts, sensors, sorbents, membranes, chemicals); and by market.

The study also examines the market environment, details industry structure and market share, and profiles 34 leading competitors including Donaldson, Engelhard, Corning, Johnson Matthey, Delphi, NGK, and Bosch.
