It presents historical demand data for 1995, 2000 and 2005 and forecasts to 2010 and 2015 by type (residential building, nonresidential building, nonbuilding), by application (new construction, additions and alterations, maintenance and repair), by market and by Chinese geographic region.

The study also considers market environment factors, details industry structure, evaluates company market share and profiles 43 major contractors including China Railway Engineering, China Railway Construction, China State Construction Engineering, China Metallurgical Construction, China Harbour Engineering, and Shanghai Construction Group.
