Chinese demand for hard surface flooring will rise 7.3 percent annually through 2010. Ceramic floor tile will remain dominant while laminate flooring will lead gains among the major products. The housing market will outpace the nonresidential building segment, spurred by ongoing privatization, higher incomes and further growth in larger new homes.
