This report forecasts US insulation demand and production in US dollars at the manufacturers' level to 2020. Total demand is also forecasted to 2020 in square meters of R-1 value. Total demand in dollars is segmented by material in terms of: foamed plastics, fiberglass, mineral wool, and other materials. Total demand in square meters of R-1 value is segmented by market as follows: residential construction; nonresidential construction; and industrial, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and OEM (original equipment manufacturer).
To illustrate historical trends, total demand in both value and area terms, and total production by value, are provided in annual series from 2005 to 2015; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2010 and 2015.
