This report forecasts US medical services demand in US dollars to 2019. Also provided are forecasts for outpatient visits and other patient activity measures in volume terms to 2019. Total demand for medical services is segmented by provider in terms of: hospital, physician and clinical, dental, other professional providers, long-term care, home healthcare, and other providers. Total outpatient visits are segmented by type as follows: physician office visits, hospital outpatient visits, outpatient facility visits, dental office visits, and home healthcare agency visits. Also provided are forecasts for the number of diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and hospital admissions.
