This report forecasts US home medical equipment demand in US dollars at the manufacturers' level to 2018. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of respiratory therapy equipment, dialysis equipment, intravenous (IV) equipment, blood glucose monitors, blood pressure monitors, other conventional monitors, telemedicine systems, wheelchairs, scooters, and other home medical equipment.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in an annual series from 2003 to 2013; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2008 and 2013. An Industry Overview section defines products, discusses market drivers and constraints, identifies substitute products when applicable, and provides pertinent background on trade, US health insurance and the Affordable Care Act, and product development.
