Jennifer Neumore, in dramatic come-from-behind fashion, won the 1st Annual TFG Soup Competition,
besting a dozen other entries. Freedonians tasted the soups - many using the clever "muffin tin"
technique (seen below) - and cast votes for their favorites, which included Sausage Artichoke Soup,
Chicken Sausage Gumbo and Seafood Bisque in addition to the winning Garlic Chickpea Spinach Soup.
Others rounded out the menu with great salads, an assortment of tasty breads and dazzling desserts.
In the end, it was deemed by many to be one of TFG's better food functions...and that's saying something at
Freedonia, where the food is almost as good as the forecasts.
