Automotive Coated Fabrics: United States

This report forecasts US automotive coated fabric demand in square yards to 2018. Total demand is segmented by fabric in terms of coated nylon, coated polyester, and other coated fabrics such as fiberglass, blended fabrics, and nonwovens. Total demand is also segmented by application as follows: light vehicle airbags; other light vehicle applications such as upholstery, trim, and accessories; and medium- and heavy-duty (MD/HD) truck and bus applications such as truck covers, sides, and upholstery.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in an annual series from 2003 to 2013; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2008 and 2013.
