This report forecasts US cheese sales in US dollars at the retail level for 2016-2020.
To illustrate historical trends, total retail sales are provided in an annual series from 2011 to 2015. US natural cheese production and the various segments are reported in annual series from 2008 to 2014. Production is segmented by variety as follows: mozzarella, other Italian cheeses, cheddar, other American cheeses, and other cheeses. A Market Overview section provides pertinent background on trends in products, markets, market share, retail sales, foodservice, and domestic and global consumption.
