This report forecasts US salt demand and production in metric tons to 2020. Total demand is also forecasted to 2020 in US dollars at the manufacturers' level. Total demand in metric tons is segmented by market as follows: road deicing, chemical manufacturing, food processing, livestock, and other markets. Total production is segmented by method in terms of: brine, rock salt, solar evaporation, and vacuum evaporation and other methods.
