This report forecasts US domestic shipyard output in US dollars to 2019. Total output is segmented by type in terms of military self-propelled ship construction, military ship repair, nonpropelled ship construction, nonmilitary self-propelled ship construction, and nonmilitary ship repair.
To illustrate historical trends, total shipments and the various segments are provided in annual series from 2004 to 2014. A Market Environment section provides pertinent background on historical trends, key economic indicators, trade, environmental and regulatory factors, product development, and trends in global shipbuilding.
