Cleveland, OH, December 8, 2017 — US household refrigerator and freezer demand is forecast to total $10.4 billion in 2021, according to Household Refrigerators & Freezers: United States, a report recently released by Freedonia Focus Reports. Increasing housing completions will drive gains over the forecast period.
Demand for refrigerators is projected to grow the fastest of any segment and remain the largest through 2021. Gains will be driven by the replacement of older machines purchased during the 2002-2006 housing boom and by enticing energy-efficient models.
