This report forecasts to 2024 turbine demand and shipments in nominal US dollars at the manufacturer level in Europe. Total demand is segmented by type in terms of: turbine engines, wind turbines, gas combustion turbines, turbine generators and generator sets, and steam and hydraulic turbines. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: electric power generation, aircraft engines, and other markets such as specialty industrial applications and turbine-based engines for marine vessels.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2009 to 2019; shipments and the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2009, 2014, and 2019.

This report treats original equipment demand for turbine products used in aircraft or marine vessels as occurring in the country where the vehicle is built. In contrast, aftermarket demand is counted in the country where the vehicle is used. Excluded from the scope of this report are turbine blades and other separately sold parts and components of complete turbine products and systems.
