This report forecasts US zinc demand and production in metric tons to 2019. Total demand is segmented by application in terms of: galvanized steel sheet and strip, other galvanized steel applications, brass and bronze, zinc-based alloys, and other applications.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand, total production, and the various demand segments are provided in annual series from 2004 to 2014. Global historical average prices for high-grade zinc cited from the World Bank are provided for 2004-2014; forecasts are also reported for 2015-2019.
