Countertops: United States Report

Report Overview

This report forecasts to 2030 US countertops demand in square meters. Total demand is segmented by material in terms of engineered stone, laminate, natural stone, solid surface/cast polymer, porcelain slab/sintered stone, other materials such as tile, steel, and wood.

Total demand is also segmented by market as follows new residential, residential remodeling, new nonresidential, residential remodeling.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2019 to 2025; the various segments are reported for 2019 and 2025.

Excluded from the scope of this report are recycled materials, including completely recycled materials, partially recycled materials, or reclaimed materials, such as tiles salvaged from other countertop installations (since no new tiles must be produced). Also excluded are materials used as wall coverings, countertops used in applications other than residential and nonresidential buildings – such as in recreational vehicles, ships, and boats, surfaces installed on tables, rolling utility carts, and other furniture.
