This report forecasts US cooking appliance demand and shipments in US dollars at the manufacturers' level to 2017. Total demand is segmented by type in terms of residential and commercial. Residential demand is also segmented by product in terms of units as follows: microwaves, ranges, hoods, cooktops, and ovens.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand in dollars is provided at five-year intervals for 2002, 2007, and 2012; shipments and the various demand segments are reported for 2007 and 2012. An Industry Overview section defines products, discusses market drivers and constraints, identifies substitute products when applicable, and provides pertinent background on legal and regulatory issues, and global demand.
