Insulation demand in China will grow nine percent annually through 2011. Gains will be fueled by strong building construction activity, increasing production of items that use insulation (e.g., refrigerators, freezers) and continued initiatives to boost energy efficiency. Foamed plastic will remain the largest segment and grow the fastest.
This study analyzes the ¥18.4 billion Chinese insulation industry. It presents historical demand data for the years 1996, 2001 and 2006 and forecasts for 2011 and 2016 by insulation product (e.g., foamed plastics, mineral wool, fiberglass); market (e.g., residential, nonresidential, industrial and HVAC equipment); and region (e.g., Central-North, Central-East, Southwest).
The study also considers market environment factors, evaluates company market share and profiles 30 major players including BNBM, Owens Corning, Saint0Gobain, BBMG Group, CSR, and Wuxi Xingda New Foam Plastic Materials.
